To Whom It May Concern:
I am an out-of-state third-year law student at a Midwestern law school. I like it here. I like my city, I like my school, my teachers, my classmates. Some of the stuff I study is pretty interesting too.
What I don’t like is the prospect of me having to do any sort of lawyer-work after I am handed my diploma. I won’t go into all my reasons here, but I’ve got a nice long list. Suffice it to say, I signed up for this gig for an excellent, excellent reason, but that reason had zero to do with law school.
So I’m starting this blog to clear my head, plan out my next moves over the next year and long-term, and find ways to help dig myself out of this debt trap. Hopefully throughout this process I’ll meet like-minded individuals who are also looking for a way out of similar situations, or simply share similar interests. It’s no fun being faced with the prospect of waking up every morning and being at most apathetic about the day ahead. I’ll suck it up if I have to, but only until I’m out of debt.
Any questions, comments, et cetera, I’m at twoemptygreenovals{at}gmail{dot}com.
Sincerely,
Jack Tego
